In March, a
successful factfinding mission to Rio de Janeiro has taken place. Dutch
knowledge and innovative technology were presented to support the Brazilians to
clean up the Guanabara Bay and further development of the Circular Economy.
After the
received positive reactions is then, by Dutch Waste Management, among others,
worked hard on an integral Clean Water and Waste proposal (consortium) with
detail elaboration of the individual projects.
Presentation
of these Dutch innovative and sustainable projects will be in the form of a
book. This projects book (proposal) will be presented by a delegation of the
consortium to the State Secretary of environment of the State of Rio de
Janeiro, Mr André Corrêa at the end of June.
Meanwhile the involved parties are talking about the design of this unique Water & Waste consortium. Issues such as Intellectual Property, organization, processes, collaboration and communication are being discussed.
